Superpedestrian, a leading e-mobility provider, has launched its new 'Passes' in several of its European city locations. Designed to cut costs for riders who regularly use the company's LINK shared e-scooters, daily, weekly and monthly options are available, each netting big savings for customers. Passes also make the company's service akin to that of traditional public transport, creating an even more cost-effective option and introducing predictable pricing for city residents across Europe.
Offering some of the industry's most extensive and generous pass pricing, Superpedestrian Passes work by giving riders the first 30 minutes of their journey free once the relevant option is purchased. Customers selecting a one-day Pass can use as many free 30 minute periods as they like, while riders choosing the seven-day Pass can use 30 and customers purchasing the 30-day Pass being able to access 100. Unlock fees are waived on all free 30 minute rides, after which standard per-minute pricing applies. For further information see the IDTechEx report on电Two-wheelers 2021-2041.
"Superpedestrian uses the smartest and safest micro-electric vehicles to help bridge transit deserts and better connect residents to public transport and the places they need to go,"says Haya Verwoord Douidri, VP (Global market expansion, strategy and policy) at Superpedestrian."Through the pandemic, our customers have come to rely on our services in more than 50 cities across eight countries. When people can afford to regularly use emissions-free electrified transport in their daily lives, instead of making short journeys by car, everyone wins. That's why we keep innovating when it comes to pricing, and why I'm proud to launch our super new Passes."
In many places, the Superpedestrian service is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week. To rent a scooter, riders simply need to download the LINK app in theGoogleorAppleapp stores.
"Our new Passes programme follows unprecedented investment by Superpedestrian to get people to Covid vaccinations centres for free, allow key workers to travel for free, and support European Mobility Week by enabling people to ride our e-scooters for free instead of using cars,"comments Steven Hodgson, Marketing Manager (EMEA) at Superpedestrian."Instead of putting shareholders' interests above all else, we're using our resources to bolster connections to transit hubs and across cities, improve air quality, reduce congestion and protect our customers' wallets. Passes are good for our riders, good for local economies and good for the planet."
